Hello, and thank you for visiting! My name is Marie Wood, and I’m the owner and creative force behind AcryliWood Designs. As a retired teacher, I have always been passionate about learning, creativity, and meaningful connections. My journey into engraving began in 2023, and it quickly became more than just a craft—it became a way to help people create lasting memories through personalized designs.

For a decade, I dedicated my career to education, guiding and inspiring students to grow and explore their potential. Teaching instilled in me a deep appreciation for detail, patience, and creativity—skills that seamlessly transitioned into the art of 3D wood carving and engraving. While I loved my time in the classroom, I found a new passion in bringing custom designs to life through engraving and 3D woodcarving, blending the precision of lasers and CNC machines with photos and artistic expression.

Whether it’s a heartfelt gift, a business sign, or a custom piece for your home, my goal is to craft designs that resonate with you. I specialize in engraving on materials like acrylic, wood, and plastic, ensuring each creation reflects quality and craftsmanship.

None of this would be possible without the love and support of my husband, Mike. For nearly 30 years of marriage, he has been my greatest encourager and partner, inspiring me to bring both heart and craft into AcryliWood Designs.

I take a personalized approach to every project, collaborating closely with customers to ensure each piece is as unique as the person receiving it. Whether you need a custom engraving, a 3D wood carving, a business sign, or a special gift, I strive to make the process easy, enjoyable, and tailored to your needs. 

In addition to running AcryliWood Designs, I’m also passionate about empowering young creatives. Through my initiative, Empowering Youth Creatives, I aim to inspire and mentor the next generation of artists and makers. Stay tuned for more info!
